Torriential Tribute and Bottomless Trap Hole

Heres the question:
U'r opponent has a Pyramid Turtle. U have a Blizzard Dragon and a facedown Bottomless Trap Hole or Torrential Tribute.
U atk Pyramid Turtle with your luster dragon. As soon as the turtle is sent to the grave the opponent summons vampire lord.

Heres the question: As soon as Vampire lord is summoned can u use Bottomless Trap hole or Torrential Tribute?

Bottomless Trap Hole or torrential cannot be activated during the Damage Step.


And once you leave the Damage Step, the last thing to occur
was not a monster with an ATK of 1500 or higher being Special Summoned,
so you have now lost the timing to activate BTH or torrential

Torrential Tribute or Bottomless Trap hole cannot be activated in Damage Step( as Assasin said)but when Vampire lord is summoned it isn't damage step since the battle between Luster and Turtle ended, so it is in the battle face. And still you cannot activate it. It is not fast enough its a normal trap, you can activate forced back, which is a counter trap, in the battle phase to negate a summoning.

Only counter traps are fast enough to be activated in damage steps OR on the card's description there is : This card can only be activated during damage step or battle phase.

Actually, after Luster Dragon attacks the Pyramid Turtle, when Vampire Lord is summoned by the Turtle effect is still damage step.

Remeber:

The damage calculation is the third step, then it goes where all monsters have their effects resolved such as don zaloog, arknight parshat, flip effects.. .etc!
The next comes when the monster cards that are considered destroyed by battle are sent to the graveyard, on this step is when Turtle activates its effect and Special Summon the Vampire Lord. So in this case you cannot activate Torrential nor Bottomless since this cards cannot be activated on damage step, also you cannot activate Solemn Judgment to negate the summon of VL because it was special summoned by the effect of turtle (Solemn Ruling).

In case VL is destroyed and summoned by its own effect then you can use torrential/bottomless/solemn
