Okay as no one from LVL is taking this seriously as a captain i will.
This grand tournament will involve three rounds with 8 competing teams, 4 teams are English-based while the other 4 are Latin-based! Each team will have 6 of its duelists involved in the competition and the tournament will proceed as follows:
Tournament Name: The First Universal Latino-English Tournament
Tournament Host: Loger0050

Type: Standard Tournament
Groups involved: Teams
Participating teams: TS, EXH, FE, LVLSC, SoD, GX, AdD, LDAC
Start Date of Round I: Monday, May 4th, 2009.
Significance: First official tournament between Spanish-based teams and English-speaking teams.
Participating Teams:
-- 4 English Teams (Chosen by the Maximum Six of BCTAU)
-- 4 Spanish Teams (Chosen by Kaiba Corp Latino, through Magodelcaos)

Deck Requirements:
-- Current KCVDS Ban List
-- No OTK or FTK Decks
-- Deck CANNOT be changed throughout tournament. One duelist sticks with the same deck throughout all of his duels.
-- Side decks are allowed. You may either have 0 or 15 cards in your side deck (nothing in between) at any point in time.
Additional Info:
-- All duels will count to the record of the participating teams.
-- Team leaders must PM me with a list of all their participating duelists and what rounds they will take a part of.
Tournament Procedure:
-- Start date is May 4, on Monday.
-- All duels are match duels, best of 3 (2 wins out of 3}
-- Each team will pick 6 duelists and divide them into 3 pairs. Each pair of 2 duelists will participate in one of the three rounds.
Example: Team A chooses six duelists. They put Duelist 1 and 2 in the same pair, duelist 3 and 4, in the second pair, and duelist 5 and 6 in the third pair. Teams B, C, D, E, F, G, and H do the same thing. So now for round 1, the duelists that will be dueling are Duelists A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2, etc.
Therefore, 16 duelists will participate in this first round. In the second round, 4 of the teams will be eliminated and 4 will remain. And so, in round 2, the same thing will happen, a different two duelists from each team participate. So, in round 2, there will be 8 participating duelists. In the third and final round, the 2 remaining teams fight for first place.
Example Bracket:
Round 1:
1. Team A vs. Team B: Duelists A1, A2, B1, and B2 = Team A wins
2. Team C vs. Team D: Duelists C1, C2, D1, and D2 = Team C wins
3. Team E vs. Team F: Duelists E1, E2, F1, and F2 = Team E wins
4. Team G vs. Team H: Duelists G1, G2, H1, and H2 = Team G wins
Round 2:
1. Team A vs. Team C: Duelists A3, A4, C3, and C4 = Team C wins
2. Team E vs. Team G: Duelists E3, E4, G3, and G4 = Team G wins
Round 3:
1. Team C vs. Team G: Duelists C5, C6, G5, and G6 = Team G wins and wins the tournament!!!
-- How does a team get eliminated?
Let's take the example above, and look at Team A vs. Team B.
The duelists involved are A1, A2, B1, and B2. So:
A1 vs. B1 = Winner is A1 in a match duel.
A2 vs. B2 = Winner is B2 in a match duel
Then, the final match is between the loser of the first match and either A2 or B2, depending on what team he is in. So in this case, third match is:
B1 vs. A2 = Winner is A2 in a match duel
Therefore! Team A packs a 2-1 record for the round and moves on to round 2 while Team B loses and gets eliminated.
Well thats about most of it.
